Introduction to Revelation

“This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place… this is his report of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ” Rev.1 v1
Revelation is the main source of the End Time prophecies. God revealed to John what must take place, and he “faithfully reported everything he saw” Rev.1 v2 . John saw many different circumstances, and machinery that he had never seen before, and that was God’s plan – that’s why Revelation is mostly symbolism.
Many other prophets such as Peter, Joel, Isaiah and Zechariah wrote some extremely similar writings and some new, so John has been affirmed by other prophets sharing the same dream.
I will be mostly quoting from Revelation, due to its plentiful resource of end time prophecies, but as I said, other prophets had something to share as well.
I would advise that that you read Revelation, as well as Joel, 2 Peter, Isaiah and Zechariah.
