RFID chips

What are they?
RFID stands for Radio Frequency IDentification. RFID chips are small microchips, which are transponders (transmitters/responders), which are constantly looking for signals from radio transceivers, or special RFID readers.
These chips come in a range of sizes, the bigger ones are the types you can feel in your passport, or credit card, but the smaller ones can be 1/3 of a millimetre, and have no battery. Costs are in the region of 10 american cents per unit, but that price is going to drop to 5 cents – and that will make them easily affordable to businesses to use wherever the heck they want.

How can people use them?
The chips contain a 128-bit number in them, which can relate to an item (in stores), or an animal (‘microchipping’) or a human – in which case could hold everything about them from their age to their credit card, to their criminal records.
In 1952, barcodes were introduced to make shopping easier. In 1984, only 15,000 suppliers used the barcodes, but between 1984 and 1987, it rose to 75,000. Why? Because it was an easy way to manage stock, and Wal-Mart, one of America’s top superstores, basically told their suppliers: Put the barcode on your products, or otherwise we’ll stop buying from you. Nowadays, in 2009, they are on pretty much every item you buy, with a unique pattern/code combination for each thing you buy.
RFID chips are the end of barcodes. In some stores like Wal-Mart, they have started to tag all their products, so the shopper would have to simply put their shopping infront of the reader, and it’ll scan all items in your basket. Even now - smart phones such as the iPhone have been fitted with these small chips in them, and so all the shopper needs to do is vaguely point their iPhone at the transceiver at the till and it will pick up your unique ID and bill your credit card.

Who uses RFID?
As mentioned, Wal-Mart have been tagging all products with the chip, but other companies have started using them as well:
Delta airlines – tag luggage so that they know who’s bag is where
Some seaport operators – tag the ship containers and track them
United States Defence – tags their military supply shipments
Star City Casino -– put tags in the uniforms of their workers to prevent theft
But what’s the problem with that? Seems reasonable to me.

Problems and issues with RFID
RFID is becoming smaller and cleverer, which means they can be hidden anywhere to monitor you at anytime.
Wal-Mart use the tags for checkout, but when they could disable the tags, they don’t! This means that everything from trousers to dishwasher tabs are being monitored, to see where they are taken and what you do with them.
The European Central Bank is thinking about putting a small RFID chip into cash notes, preventing counterfeits and this would also mean they could count money very quickly. But this means that the last way of ‘privately’ trading would be gone, for they could monitor exactly where all money goes, preventing someone from doing some hidden trade in a back alley somewhere.
Visa is combining their smart card with an RFID chip, so that they can, like the iPhone, do transactions without even having to get out your wallet as well.

THE BIG ISSUE
All these things are bad, but there is one huge underlying problem with it all. These chips, which are getting smaller and smaller, could be put into humans. The possibilities are frightening – everything the government and police etc know about you will be under your profile under your personal 96-digit alpha-numeric identification number, along with credit card details, records, financial and insurance details….the list goes on. Government will be able to track your every move, and see where your car is, where your house is…
And for the Christians…
It is an even bigger, life-threatening problem.
‘And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation’ Revelation 13: 7
So when the Anti-Christ (another subject) comes, he will be firstly respected and known by everyone, and when he dies and returns, he will get people to worship him as ‘God’ by those who believe he is the answer to all the world’s problems – not knowing who he actually is by that time – the devil re-incarnate.
‘15He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.’ Revelation 13: 15-18
So the Anti-Christ will bring a mark, which could well be the RFID chip. The
description of it – unable to buy and sell, forehead or right hand fits the possible ‘advancements’ for the chip. The RFID chip on its own is not the thing that will make Christians and others die.
It is extremely unlikely that the Anti-Christ, re-incarnate as the devil ‘Beast out of the earth’, would be able to implement billions of microchips quickly – for it says in the bible that he will reign supreme for 3.5 years ‘time, times and half a time’ Daniel 7:25.
So one possibility is that the chips/mark will be implemented normally by the people in power, or by the AC whilst still in normal human form. When the AC turns, he will use the RFID chips, already implanted, to his advantage. Because no-one will be able to buy or sell without this chip, all the AC will say is something along the lines of: ‘to prove your allegiance to me, your “risen Lord”, everyone must go down to their nearest town hall in the next 30 days to have my number added to yours’. If you were to refuse to get the additional digits (which will most probably be 666) during 30 day period, you will be forced to have them added or killed.
This is where Christians will stare death in the face. Two options: One - take the mark, pledging your allegiance to the AC, and be allowed to buy and sell, or Two – be killed by the followers or inforcers of AC, or starve to death.
‘All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world’ Revelation 13: 8
We must not worship the beast – if we do, we are damned. If we take the mark of the beast we are damned also, because the mark is the symbol of worship and collaboration.
The one thing we must remember is – this technology is fine, and is in some cases a good idea, but when it becomes the symbol of AC’s “Sovereignty”, it will be changed to be the mark of the beast.
